On September 11, 2026, HKSPK will independently release their second album, Heimkehr.

The eight-track album expands considerably on the sound heard in “Rot In Despair”. Its direct Black/Death Metal aggression remains at the centre, but the record also moves into darker, more atmospheric and personal territory. The songs deal with violence, memory, loss, comradeship and the lasting consequences of past battles.

The title track brings these themes together through the idea of returning home without truly arriving. The person comes back physically, but neither peace nor a sense of wholeness returns with them.

HKSPK currently reaches around 11,500 listeners in the last 28 days on Spotify, with more than 25,000 streams, 1,522 followers and placements in over 100 playlists.
