From the depths of the abyss emerges Nox Infernum, the unholy creation of Melkor, a solitary force who commands every aspect of the project, composition, recording, concept, lyrics, mixing, mastering, and artwork. With Maledictum Noctis, his first full‑length offering, Melkor unveils a spiritual descent into the void where light is devoured and only the flame of desecration remains.
Rooted in the raw, uncompromising tradition of Black Metal, Maledictum Noctis summons a soundscape of razor‑sharp guitars, ritualistic ambient keys, and relentless drums that strike like war hammers upon the altar of perdition. The atmosphere is suffocating, immersive, and violently transcendental, a sonic ritual forged in darkness.
Lyrically, the album rejects redemption and exalts the fall, drawing upon themes of satanism, blasphemy, spiritual negation, and the triumph of eternal night. Across its ten tracks, the listener is dragged into a realm where shadows rise, faith collapses, and the abyss becomes sovereign.
