After teasing their debut for the past few weeks, Roman band NOVOMUNDO are ready to unveil their first full-length album, "The Cursed Cult", set for release on March 1st, 2026. The band has already offered glimpses of their sonic vision through previous singles and content, building strong anticipation for the upcoming record and showcasing the clear artistic direction of their project.

Today, NOVOMUNDO reveal their new single, “Bokor”, accompanied by the official video. The track is marked by a tense, restless energy and a richly detailed soundscape: tight, aggressive riffs intertwine with powerful grooves and dark, immersive atmospheres, while tribal-inspired percussion and haunting melodic lines emerge with striking clarity. “Bokor” highlights the band’s ability to merge extreme and melodic elements, alternating between moments of raw intensity and more reflective, atmospheric passages without ever losing force or cohesion.

With this latest single, NOVOMUNDO continue to establish their distinct style, giving fans a further taste of the debut album while demonstrating their compositional maturity and meticulous attention to sonic detail. The release of “Bokor” marks another significant step in the band’s journey, uniting aggression, complexity, and emotional impact into a single, powerful musical statement.

The band commented:

"We are proud to present the fourth and penultimate single from our upcoming album, 'The Cursed Cult'.

The track, titled 'Bokor', stands among the rawest and most ferocious songs on the record. True to our trademark approach, we alternate almost mystical, ritual-like instrumental passages with crushing breakdowns and riffs, all driven by relentless groove and power.

The song revolves around the figure of the Bokor, a Voodoo sorcerer who awakens the dead from their eternal sleep to bend them to his dark will.

However, the key to understanding this track - like all the lyrics on the album - lies elsewhere: always look at the other side of the coin, the hidden layer, the truth we believe we know… which often isn’t the truth at all".
