Here comes the first of three singles of Emsdeathens Hardcore/Death-Metal outfit „No Shelter.“. The music video was shot by the bands friend Felix R. „REMISSION / RESOLVE“ is available from 25th July 2025. „The solution is a hammer and a nail!“.

(Blackend Hardcore/Metal) What a nasty board comes from the Münsterland! A beast of a record, aggressive, biting to the max, close to overdrive excess! But first things first - No Shelter were apparently only unknown to me, or so it seemed to me after I asked Professor Hagemann for his opinion on the 5 guys from Emsdetten. I was asked incredulously whether I had actually never seen them live. It seemed as if the beer metal god had already given his seal of approval to No Shelter years ago. And so one thing is certain: nothing can go wrong here.

And so, after "Rest In Death" (2020) and "Erasing Life" (2022), "Remission/Resolve" is also convincing in all respects - if you have a soft spot for bands like Trap Them, Nails or Entombed, you will certainly get a thieving grin on your face here.

Recorded in the Tonmeisterei, No Shelter hammer on our nerves in 12 acts with a really big mallet - there are actually quite a few varieties of modern extreme music to be found in the guys' oeuvre - slow, destructively broken, maltreating, raging, in a D-beat gallop they mill their way into the auditory canal. It's a deep bow to their Swedish metal friends from the late 80s/early 90s, a hymn to the HM2-Zerrer, which has set a whole generation of young death metalheads in motion.

Bio: „No Shelter.“ was formed in May 2017 by Members of Bands like Weathered, Unrest, Maré (ex-Kalypso), New World Depression, Under Hoods and Lizard Fist. The Sound of the Band is comparable to acts like „Trap Them“ or „Entombed“. In short: Pissed, swedish Death Metal mixed with Hardcore. Besides playing many shows since their existence, they opened up for bands like Cannibal Corpse, Yacopsae, Escuela Grind, Nervosa and Teethgrinder. Parts of the band are active in the DIY Hardcore Record label, which has released some of the Bands records. Through the DIY-spirit the band takes care of creating and printing their own merchandise together with Santa Diabla.

The first self-titled demo EP was recorded shortly after the foundation of the band in September 2017 and realeased on tape via Backbite Records two months after. This release was followed by the „REIGN FROM ABOVE“ EP, which is available on Tape via Altastadtwolf Records and on 7“ through Santa Diabla Records. Early 2020 marks the release for the first full lengt album of the Bands, which will was released on 12“ Vinyl via Santa Diabla and as Cassette Tape via Lower Class Kids Records on Feb 15th, 2020. After the release of their first LP, the band started writing their 2nd LP “Erasing Life”, which was recorded at Liquid Aether Audio in early of 2021 and Mastered at Audiosiege (Portland, USA). The release is planned for the first half of 2022. For the new Album the band turned more to a “Death Metal” sort of style, without losing the essential influence from Hardcore, Punk and Crust bands. For their new release, the band teamed up with “Menschenstaub” to release an 8-song Split LP via Santa Diabla, Racoone Records and SM-Musik. The release strengthens the direction the band turned into the genre of “Death Metal”, without losing the unmistakable influence of other genres.
