In anticipation for their upcoming spring tours, West Coast metal band MUGSHOT has released a brand new single today, titled "24 Thorns," featuring Connecticut death metalheads Vomit Forth.
Commenting on the new track, MUGSHOT says:
“'24 Thorns' is the end of the rope: the feeling as though life has continuously drug you down to its’ lowest possible point. Without having the control to fix it or make a change, it is like a thorn digging in your side every hour of the day. Musically we wanted to capture that feeling with pummeling, aggressive sections juxtaposed against parts that induce anxiety or claustrophobia."

The new single arrives on the heels of MUGSHOT's EP, "Cold Will," which was released last fall, and ahead of the band's awaited spring tours with Philly metal band KAONASHI and Australian post-hardcore favorites THE AMITY AFFLICTION.
