Originally planned to have been the B-side to Sorrows Of Yesterday, but after hearing the finished product, MisophoniA felt the track Still Feel As Blind was better released as a standalone single. The song was one of three original MisophoniA demo's they have had in their arsenal from way back in 2016/2017. Still Feel As Blind has seen a few changes since then but the vibe remains the same.
Lyrically the song is a bit cryptic but reading between the metaphorical lines it is about feeling trapped in an endless claustrophobic loop taking 1 step forward and 3 back. Trying constantly to make it into the light, but never reaching it. Musically, the original demo was very much influenced by the cold harsh vibes of Primordial, Dimmu Borgir and Satyricon. However this updated and professional edit has more of a down tempo doom thing going, and as a result has a more Paradise Lost and Evadne vibe. The song was recorded during the same recording session as Sorrows Of Yesterday and features the previous group lineup.
