METAL DETEKTOR: signs to Rude Awakening Records, new track online!

METAL DETEKTOR will be the next band to be released on Rude Awakening Records. Founded in 2000 and hailing from Calabria (Italy), the renewed five piece act will return this summer with a brand new album that will follow the 2021 EP "Maximum Overdrive".

About the next album the band declares: It’s a work that continues to explore the roots of pure Heavy Metal, but at the same time evolves the band’s sound, with more reflective writing and a narrative that becomes more intimate and personal. The album is divided into eight tracks that deal with themes of violence, resistance, pride and sacrifice, highlighting the most complex nuances of human life. The approach to composition is always direct and uncompromising, but with an increasing attention to the emotional construction of each song. “Violence and Pride” is not just a Heavy Metal album, but a reflection about the themes of struggle, resistance and identity. The common thread that links the tracks is the path that starts from suffering to reach awareness and inner strength. The stories of those who rebel, those who fight, those who resist are all different but have the same essence in common: the spirit of those who never give up.
