MELODIC METAL ACT RISE OF ASURA TO LAUNCH NEW SINGLE 'KNIFE TO MY THROAT’

(STREAM ON SPOTIFY) ‘KNIFE TO MY THROAT’ is the latest single from Norwegian melodic metal band RISE OF ASURA. Both heavy and tuneful, this latest song showcases the band's genre-bending mix of maddening but melodic metalcore and modern alternative elements.

RISE OF ASURA is a rock band from Fredrikstad, Norway. Their debut album, ‘SKY EMPIRE,’ was released in October 2022. For 2023, the band is working on their second full length album ‘DYSPHORIA’ to continue their goal of exploring different genres and soundscapes, striving to find the balance between beautiful neurotic expression and utter madness. The lead single of this upcoming album, ‘KNIFE TO MY THROAT,’ upholds these songwriting ideals, showcased in an intense but catchy performance. Lyrically, the song explores how much damage a toxic relationship can do to a person and finding a way to take control of your own life.
