Epic blackened melodeath conjurers MALPHAS unveil their latest offering, “The Conjuring”, out now via M-Theory Audio. A reimagining of one of the first songs the band ever wrote, the single fuses their raw early energy with the refined intensity of their modern sound.
Following the acclaim of their 2024 sophomore album Portal (M-Theory Audio), MALPHAS now look both forward and backward with “The Conjuring”, a track that serves as a creative bridge between their origins and the mythos of their upcoming third album.
“The Conjuring is one of the early tracks we recorded as a band - our songwriting was still in an embryonic state, so we decided to revisit it for the 10 year mark of our first release. We rewrote and rearranged parts of it in the vein of our modern sound and were pleasantly surprised by the result.
