Riff-driven and immediate, MALIST's style is rooted in the best Atmospheric Black Metal imprint, although experimenting with Post-Metal passages and modern-oriented melodic approaches. Often epic and fierce, "Eternal Echo of the Fall" allows the listener to experience the perfect balance between anger and melancholy, as well as rawness with suggestiveness, thanks to mutable sections floating between slow-paced magical atmospheres and more fiery, aggressive ones. A particular attention to arrangements and a certain degree of amount of ideas seals this album as an intriguing musical journey, in which each song has distinctive traits if compared to each other.

Lyrically inspired by Tolkien's masterpiece, "Eternal Echo of the Fall" speaks of choice and its consequences in the face of a demiurgic hunger for absolute dominion. In moments of foreordination, the fading echo becomes a hymn of self-sacrifice.

The band's prolific career is now at its sixth record, with the previous ones released by excellences such as Northern Silence Records and Avantgarde Music. The quest is all but accomplished: although started as a solo project by Ovfrost, MALIST has now a full line-up and is ready to bring its majestic and dark music on stage.
