Madness of Sorrow have released a new video on their YouTube channel for the track "Infernal Ascension", the third single taken from their latest studio effort, "The Silent Sovereign", which was released in late 2025 via Ad Noctem Records.
Following two highly elaborate music videos for "Rise of the Fallen" and "King of Lies", the Italian horror gothic metal band has opted for an energetic and aesthetic studio playthrough video. Characterized by a raw visual style, sepia tones, and vintage grain, the clip puts the spotlight squarely on the pure execution and performance of the individual musicians, all captured within their respective studio spaces.
Born in 2011 from the mind of singer and multi-instrumentalist Murihell, Madness Of Sorrow delivers powerful, hard-hitting Horror Metal that seamlessly blends industrial aggression, groove, and gothic atmospheres, following in the footsteps of genre giants like Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Ministry. With a solid discography boasting 5 full-length albums and the EP 666: THE DISCIPLE (2022), the band continues the storyline of the frontman’s demonic possession with The Silent Sovereign. This time, he is determined to conquer the world by climbing the ranks of the political sphere—a direct homage to The Omen saga.
