LOTRIFY Revealed Details for New Album “Time Fracture”

Swiss metal band LOTRIFY has unveiled many details about his upcoming album. The new record, follow-up of the 2018’s effort Resilience, will be called Time Fracture and it will be released on December, 17th.

A first video is already online for the song “Dreams of Mine” - watch it on YouTube!

Lotrify was founded in 2008 by five young, ambitious musicians from Baden, Switzerland. Best described as Melodic Metal, their music is distinguished by melodic and rhythmic guitars, accompanied by clean vocals as well as screams and growls. Influences can be found in diverse genres, ranging from Metalcore to Black Metal. In 2013, Lotrify recorded their first EP “Light Passes, Shadow Remains”. In 2015, they toured through Eastern Europe and played the famous Swiss concert location “Z7” twice: once as an opener for the mighty Exodus and Testament and, only three months later, as the main support group for Gojira.

After sharing stages with bands like Rise Of The Northstar and Hacktivist, Lotrify introduced plans for their new album in 2017. The concept album was recorded and released digitally in three separate parts, which in the end formed one complete piece. The new album “Resilience” was released in September 2018. With the new songs ready and a lot of shows planned, including representing Switzerland at the legendary Wacken Open Air in Germany, they had a busy schedule for 2019. While 2020 came up with the pandemic, the band already started to write new material. After a few gigs happening and then a few getting canceled, more and more songs were ready.

The old plan was to record an EP with 5 or 6 songs, but because of closed borders in Europe they could not record the tracks in Germany. With the additional time well used more songs were written and in Summer 2021 a full album was successfully recorded. On 17th Dec 2021 the 9-track album “Time Fracture” will be released in jewel case, streaming, digital download formats.
