The brainchild of lyricist Shadows, Lord Of Shadows is a magnificent exploration of the essence of gothic doom. Towering riffs entwined in melancholy guitar melodies, colossal drums and an interweaving of mournful vocals all bring Shadows' tales of lost love and tragedy to vivid, vibrant life. 'Faith Of Thy Beloved' is the second single to be taken from the debut full length album from Lord Of Shadows - Echoes Of Yore - and it features wonderful vocal performances from Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride and Heike Langhans of Remina, formerly of Draconian. Their beautiful, contrasting vocals are lifted upon the shoulders of the brilliant playing of multi-instrumentalist Mike Lamb of Sojourner.
