LISTEN TO Fabula Rasa “Tome II: The Beyond”, out now!

Fabula Rasa, from Düsseldorf, Germany, have released the album “Tome II: The Beyond”. Out since 13 June 2025, the record is self released and available on digital and CD.

“Tome II: The Beyond” runs to 10 tracks and just over 48 minutes. It follows the band’s Power-Folk blueprint where violin lines lead the melody, guitars carry the drive, and vocals stay clear and upfront. The CD edition is a digipack with a 12-page booklet.

The writing covers the band’s full range. Vengeance Is Mine and Dragon Rising push the tempo. Anthem Of The North focuses on a big chorus. Deities Fight (Ladadei) takes a more lyrical route. At Full Moon and Legend Of Jhachaar underline the folk thread. Chasing The Traitor and Until The Dawn sit in the power metal lane. Burning Innocence is the first fully acoustic folk track in the catalogue.

Active on German stages since late 2019, Fabula Rasa have shared bills with Heidevolk, Obscurity, Tyr, Finsterforst, Storm Seeker, Orden Ogan and Nanowar of Steel. The band describe their sound as Power-Folk, an energetic mix of classic metal and folk elements shaped by the violin.
