"Burned to Death" opens with witch-like screams and the beating of a traditional Basque instrument, pulling the listener into a world of a pulse of ancient dread and ceremony. Voice and rhythm evoke a deep inner unrest.As the music grows darker and more intense, transformation takes hold. The akelarre, a witches’ gathering, erupts in chaotic ecstasy, where dance and delirium blur boundaries. Sound becomes a force of awakening. In the final moments, the executions unfold, but the protagonist sticks to ancestral truth.
