KRATON reveal:
"With 'Spiritualité Sombre', we open a door to a world of shadows, spirituality, and cathartic force. The song unfolds like a ritual – rising slowly, layer by layer, dark and depressing, carried by heavy riffs and deep soundscapes. A harmonious, calm middle section briefly opens up a moment of pause before the piece culminates in a brutal finale that uncompromisingly tears everything down.
The video, produced by the band in collaboration with Martine Ludwig and visually realized with camera and editing by Yannick Kohl, translates this essence into powerful, sparsely lit images. Symbolic scenes unfold in the darkness, oscillating between decay and transcendence – a balancing act between despair and elevation.
In doing so, we create not just a music video, but an audiovisual experience that draws the listener into the depths of existential emotions. 'Spiritualité Sombre' is a manifesto of modern doom – painful, sublime, and uncompromising."
