Kayo Dot to release "Moss Grew on the Swords and Plowshares Alike" on Oct 29!

In the latest chapter of his critically celebrated career, multi-instrumentalist Toby Driver ventures into harsh and heavy realms of dark experimental music with melancholic undertones that meld elements of rock, metal, classical, goth, indie, pop and jazz. The record was recorded with the original line-up of Driver's previous band MAUDLIN OF THE WELL, and recorded the new album in the same location as the very first MAUDLIN OF THE WELL tape. In a way, KAYO DOT are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of the landmark double album Bath/Leaving Your Body Map and the 25 years since MAUDLIN OF THE WELL's inception with Moss Grew on the Swords and Plowshares Alike. KAYO DOT’s follow up to 2019’s Blasphemy, is another beautiful and essential facet of their complex musical multiverse that’s worth a moment of your time.
