One day before “Soldatenschicksale” drops KANONENFIEBER is releasing the gloomy video for “Heizer Tenner” (Stoker Tenner) that was directed by Mbience Visuals, Oliver König (“Der Maulwurf“ and more): https://youtu.be/4cW0qtMFKs0
The band about the song and video: “‘Heizer Tenner’ depicts a world of heat, soot and detonating steel, in which every minute decides between life and death, from the perspective of the ship's stokers working in the boiler and engine room of the light cruiser SMS Wiesbaden. During the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916, the ship was rendered unmanoeuvrable by heavy artillery fire and lay helpless under further bombardment in the North Sea west of Jutland. Deep inside the hull, the men fought a hopeless battle against exhaustion and suffocation amid overheating boilers, trying to escape steam and invading water. The song gives voice to the extreme physical strain and inevitable fate of those who died buried deep in the ship as it sank in the early hours of 1 June 1916."
KANONENFIEBER released another new song, “Z-Vor”, in August of last year. Check out the lyric video here: https://youtu.be/M355O3YomHM
The video was followed by „Der Füsilier I (2025)“ that was filmed at Summer Breeze 2025: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSgdeel18qc
