JawTrap to release Hellscape in September!

HELLSCAPE is the debut album by JAWTRAP; a brand new grindcore outfit hailing from the underground scene of Aalborg, Denmark. The band is the brainchild of punkrock veteran Niels Højgaard Sørensen (Stöj Snak, Mighty Midgets, Lemlæstet Forsterbræk and others).

Hellscape contains 17 tracks of hardcore-infused grindcore with hints of crust and deathmetal. Even sporting a bit of progressive metal in places such as the 5/4 blastbeats of “Vote with your Wallet” and the slow tempo and melodic piano on “Black Grunge”.

Coming out of the scene surrounding the local venue 1000Fryd, the album has guest performances by other Aalborg underground acts such as Omsorg, Vægtløs and Columbian Neckties - it’s fast, relentless and heavy.
