Japanese band Galundo Tenvulance will release the album “Insomnis Somnia” on 17 September 2025 via SPIRITUAL BEAST. The album features new vocalist SAO and was mixed and mastered by Finnish engineer Saku Moilanen.

Japan’s rising melodic death metal act return with “Insomnis Somnia”, a thirteen track album that sets sweeping melody and orchestral scale against uncompromising weight. The record introduces new vocalist SAO and was mixed and mastered by Finnish engineer Saku Moilanen, known for work with Before The Dawn, Wolfheart and Horizon Ignited. Artwork is by Rib:y(uhki), whose visuals frame the album’s sharper, more forceful direction.

Galundo Tenvulance formed in September 2020 under guitarist and main composer ASUKUN, joined by DERA on guitar, KEN on keyboards and original vocalist CHIAKI. The band released the single “Genesis” in 2020 and the EP “Tenvulancy” in 2021, then connected with SPIRITUAL BEAST while preparing a full length. GLUE came in on bass and, after CHIAKI’s departure for health reasons, ASUKUN temporarily handled vocals and delivered the self produced EP “The Disruptor Descends” in 2022. In 2023 the debut album “Lunar Eclipture” arrived through SPIRITUAL BEAST, mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren, earning strong coverage in European and South American metal media. SAO joined in July 2024 and the current line up completed “Insomnis Somnia”.

On “Insomnis Somnia” the band push further into the space where soaring lyricism meets sheer brutality. The writing favours clear, memorable songs, the arrangements bring symphonic scale without losing impact, and SAO’s roar sits at the centre of a sound designed to hit hard while carrying detail. The result is a brutal and melodic storm and a clear next step in the evolution that began with “Genesis” and “Tenvulancy”, took shape on “The Disruptor Descends”, and found wider reach with “Lunar Eclipture”.
