Italian doom/sludge project Inqvisitor release album "Sublunar Attunement" on November 21st!
Italian doom/sludge project Inqvisitor will release its new album "Sublunar Attunement" on November 21st, 2026. The self-released record will be available digitally.
Inqvisitor is the solo project of Cliff Scott, also known from Meursault Omega and Sorrowtale. Based in Milan, the project centres on occult themes and obscure rituals, combining heavy sounds with distorted patterns and noise-driven atmospheres.
"Sublunar Attunement" explores what Scott describes as the hidden chasm of humanity and the ongoing search for a spiritual dimension. The album frames that idea as an alchemical journey through the universe's primordial elements, resulting in an experimental form of blackened sludge steeped in darkness.
The seven-track release was recorded at Vespertine Studios and was produced, mixed and mastered by Cliff Scott.
