Pescara-based depressive post-black metallers EYELESSIGHT have announced the re-release of their 2018 opus “Athazagorafobia.” The album will be out on December 17th via Talheim Records and it will be available as vinyl in three variations (white with red splatter, standard black, black with white splatter).

The release is accompanied by the visualizer video for “Vuota Solitudine,” one of the two bonus tracks included in the new edition. Watch it now: https://youtu.be/eG4iUlrf8eo

EYELESSIGHT explained what the album represents for them:

“A journey within oneself - fragile, raw, and inevitable.

An odyssey through the shadowed corridors of loss, where the echo of abandonment becomes both torment and companion.

It begins with the absence of a loved one, and with it, the slow collapse of everything once taken for granted. Reality strips itself bare, leaving behind only the ghost of what was.

An obsessive nostalgia rises — a fever of memory.

We drown in recollections so vivid they blur the line between remembrance and hallucination. We build entire worlds out of what no longer exists, breathing life into the dead air of yesterday, until we must confront the cruel truth: we are only deceiving ourselves. Nothing returns. Everything has ended.

Then comes the silence — the unbearable solitude of facing life alone, with no one left to mirror our existence.

The present feels hollow, sterile, meaningless.

We wander through it like specters, clinging to fragments of the past, trying to resurrect warmth through the faint light of memory.

And at the end, the final awareness:

those emotions are gone forever.

No heart will ever awaken ours again.

We surrender to the stillness — to the cold comfort of an eternal anhedonia,

where feeling itself becomes a distant dream.”
