Where human value is defined by property, race, gender and other crap. Therefore Operation Volkstod is a declaration of war against this world‘s condition, against the system and for complete liberty. And against the whole nsbm shit.

About the philosophical foundations of this album...

"Human is born out of fear“ (Open the gates of hell)! It‘s the fear of nature that was so overwhelming to early man that he flinched at the sound of thunder. A fear confirmed to us by antiquity and medieval sources and which not overcome until the Romantic period, when people begun to felt more powerful than nature. This fear was the origin of the desire to manipulate nature. Human began to use magic and imagined gods in nature, which could subordinated his own will, or at least appeased through sacrifice. Knowledge of proper practice was monopolized by magicians and in later times by priests. These positions were taken over by the men and thus laid the foundation stone for hierarchy and patriarchy. People had forgotten that they were part of nature: so the will to control nature also meant the subjection and abasement of human and women were the first victim.: “As Marduk killed Tiamant” (Ancient Origin). From the many gods, which were still identical to nature, a single god emerged in a process of straining, who was more powerful than all others because he was above nature and so more and more people followed this one god. I have to mention that this one God since Emperor Constantine demonstrated his power primarily by fire and steel through his believing followers. Since civilization, only men could ruling whom the gods were benevolent and since the one god toppled the old gods, only those who were by God's grace could rule. With industrialization, people were able to replace the tasks of God through technology, even if this has not led to the disappearance of religion to this day. The work of the brown coal excavator, which makes the forest disappear into a hole in the ground, is closely related to the purpose of religion; the same dominum terrae. So this is what god commissions to human in bible to the human: “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground." Religion has all this hierarchies, oppression and abasement called “the good”. But there is a counterpart, something evil, the fallen angel Lucifer, called Satan. This is why you find Satan on this album. Its a metaphor for total liberation, to break the chains and to be what YOU want. It is a metaphor for living with nature and not against it. it is a metaphor to destroy all hierarchies. At the same time the use of Satan can be understood as a homage to the music of the early Black Metal pioneers. Please be aware that the lyrics of OpV are not philosophical essays and can only decoded as part in OpV's aesthetics in it’s entirety. The truth that is contained in this work of art can be grasped, or more precisely experienced, only in this entirety. It’s cause this album is an attempt to find an aesthetic access to truth, witch is hidden in darkness and make us scared, possibly the same that are the Greek Tragedy was about. It's what we feel when everything seems hopeless but it’s the same what make us celebrate exhilarating festivals. Something that we as humanity have to recognize and to get rid of the bad part. Humanity needs a new spirit to create a better world. I’m aware that the lyrics don’t follow this concept constantly but it’s because they cannot. It’s therefore better to consider the lyrics as a bonus that completes the aesthetics and helps to find the right approach to this things."
