Swedish crust/death metal unit Industrial Puke has just dropped a brand-new video for "Hoax-Mongers," a ferocious track from their upcoming second album, Alive To No Avail, which is set to be released on March 28 via Suicide Records.
The band had this to say about the track: “They’re all fucking charlatans. Peddling a hoax! Although we sought to elevate and evolve with our new album, there was never thought of leaving the mania of crust punk behind. Second single, ‘Hoax-Mongers’ hammers this in with conviction. It seems like the world we live in refuses to quit praising people unfit to lead the sheep. No matter if it’s a benzo-fueled professor with a Messiah complex or the original mad swindler of Nazareth, too many of us are still desperate to be herded off the cliffs by hoax-mongers. In the spirit of independent minds, who better to lend their strongly unique voice to this blistering track than Lars Broddesson of Hild (also ex-Marduk). We shared the stage with Hild at the Metal Theatre Festival in 2023 and were collectively blown away by the band’s furious sound and presence. Thankfully Broddesson agreed to lend his raging voice and presence and elevate the track even further.”
Recorded at Studio Soundport with producer/engineer Mikael Andersson, Alive To No Avail hones Industrial Puke’s death metal intensity and crust punk ferocity, resulting in a blistering 12-track assault that’s even more refined yet equally relentless than its predecessor. Pre-orders are now available at this location.
The album follows their 2023 critically acclaimed debut, Born Into the Twisting Rope, released via Suicide Records—a raw, unrelenting blast of death metal, hardcore, and crust punk energy. Now, with Alive To No Avail, Industrial Puke ups the ante, delivering a punishing experience for fans of Slayer, Disrupt, Entombed, Napalm Death, and Skitsystem.
Founded in 2017 by Jens Ekelin (Rentokiller), the band emerged from a shared love for Disrupt and extreme, uncompromising music. After a lineup solidification process, they unleashed their explosive debut single "Mental Taxation" in 2022, paving the way for their first EP, Where Life Crisis Starts. Now, they’re back, meaner and heavier than ever.
