Heads Above are an explosive five-piece Melodic Hardcore outfit hailing from Liverpool, England. Forming in early 2024, they quickly made a name for themselves in the local scene with the creation of their first EP, “You Speak To Me As Though I Wasn’t Living”, taking a DIY, community-based approach to playing shows and recording. Following this ethos, they released a double single “Rip & Tear” in 2025, featuring Izabel Lavin of Rozemary & Demeanour and Nat Owens of Arcadia Ego & Monroe.

Whilst playing shows all around the North West of England during 2025, they were quietly crafting what would become their second studio EP, “Family of Patterns”, taking the band in a new sonic direction, whilst staying true to their heavy roots. Recorded at The Arch in Southport with their producer & engineer Daniel Cain (Cain Audio), it is due for release on the 1st of May 2026, with a celebratory headline release show slated for the Kazimier Stockroom on the 9th of May 2026 with special guests.
