Halifax deathgrind act OLIVIA NEUTERED JOHN release new album "Obscene Propaganda"

Halifax, Nova Scotia deathgrind act Olivia Neutered John have released Obscene Propaganda, their first full-length since 2020’s Gorewhore. The new record is available now on Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms.

Olivia Neutered John’s new album Obscene Propaganda packs 13 tracks into 38 minutes, built around grindcore speed, abrasive riffs, and a blunt focus on modern-day pressure points. The band frame the album as a record about ordinary people getting pushed to the edge in systems that keep tightening.

“These are songs about common people struggling through monstrous times,” says the band’s driving force Richard / Rachel. “It seems like every single day normal people are being put through the meat grinder for some landlord or corporation or ‘politician.’ People are sick and tired. This album is about those people and their struggles.”
