Godes Yrre released what may be one of 2025’s standout stoner doom albums!

Staying true to their stoner and gothic roots, the new record dives deep into human emotions while touching on mythological figures and historical themes. For the first time, the band bring in guest musicians on each track, opening the door to new sounds and aesthetics.

Originally founded in 1994 by Oliva (formerly of death metal band Sectarium), Godes Yrre remained silent for over 20 years before resurfacing in 2017 with Inside the Whale, followed by Ghost Warriors (2018) and Das Nichts (2020), completing a trilogy exploring themes of hell and the tormented soul across cultures.

In 2021, the band rearranged earlier material into a symphonic album, followed by a double compilation in 2023. With Feelings Can Burn You, Godes Yrre bring together a trilogy of EPs into a full-length album, remixed and remastered for 2025.
