German Heavy Metal Legends RAGE Reject the Doom Spiral on "A New World Rising," New Album Out 9/26!

'80s German heavy / thrash / power metal band Rage are pleased to be unleashing the forthcoming album A New World Rising. Two years after its dystopian predecessor, the new album drops on September 26th via Steamhammer/SPV Recordings.
The debut single "Freedom" is the perfect first representation of the album — a haunting uptempo number that is very catchy and focused, with lyrics about the really important values in life, which, above all, includes freedom.
"This applies not only to us, but to everyone: We need to get out of the destructive mindset that is currently omnipresent. A lot of people think the world is about to come to an end, everything is interpreted in a negative way, and some of it is even deliberately controlled because it's easier to manipulate people with fear." says band founder Peavy Wagner.
