German duo Breathe//Die will release their new EP “gestalt” on October via Tidal Force Records!

Breathe//Die return with “gestalt”, out 1 October 2025 on Tidal Force Records. Built on an HM-2 chainsaw tone and high-speed blast beats, the record pushes the band’s hybrid of hardcore punk, grindcore and death metal with a DIY production handled entirely in-house.

Formed as a trio and now a duo, Breathe//Die forged their sound around a self-built distortion prototype that led to a collaboration with Lichtlaerm Audio and the MEDUSA chainsaw pedal. After a 2020 demo on Colossus Tapes, the band reshaped as a two-piece, debuting live at Fusion Festival in 2023 and logging more than 30 shows across the last two years. “gestalt” is fully self-recorded and self-produced, drums tracked in the rehearsal room, guitars, bass and vocals recorded at home, with mixing and mastering completed by Ben-John.
