Unjoyful Play is a solo project by Sami Lustig from Hautajaisyö and Uhriristi. It mixes fictional storytelling with metal music. It is a dystopian story about humanity at the end of the world. Dictatorship and resistance are in constant battle. The apocalypse comes and the total destruction of mankind. In the last song, mankind wakes up in the morning fog, confused and bewildered to find that they have been living in a part of God's hell machine. A barrel organ, operated by a faceless and timeless figure. As the barrel organ plays its last note, the nightmare and destruction begins again and eternity plays its melody of damnation.
