FANE is a sludge duo from Louisiana formed by longtime collaborators Ryan Ashmore and Trey Porche, two musicians deeply rooted in the state's metal and hardcore underground. Built on years of shared experience, the project reflects a deliberate commitment to honesty, restraint and emotional weight rather than excess or technical display.

Drawing from doom, sludge, hardcore, black metal and American folklore, FANE distills these influences into a sound that is both crushing and introspective.
