Lithuanian experimental metal band Erdve reveal “Nyra”, the lead single from their upcoming full-length album Epigrama. The song introduces the emotional and conceptual gravity that shapes the record, presenting grief not as a fleeting reaction but as a force that traps the individual within cycles of memories and unresolved responsibilities.

Driven by dense atmosphere and deliberate pacing, “Nyra” unfolds as a suffocating meditation on loss and recollection. The composition develops through carefully structured tension rather than sudden aggression, allowing heavy, atmospheric guitars and restrained rhythmic movement to create a gradual sense of psychological pressure. This controlled intensity reflects the album’s broader commitment to intentional songwriting, where each element contributes to a cohesive emotional architecture.
Accompanying the single, ERDVE present a music video filmed at the Park of Europe in Joneikiškės, Lithuania. The visual unfolds among monumental sculptural works, including Double Negative Pyramid by Sol LeWitt (1999), Space of Unknown Growth by Magdalena Abakanowicz (1998), Lying Head by A. Jacovskis (2001), Chamber of Light by Aleš Veselý (1997), and White by Artūras Raila (1992).
