EQUISETUM sign to My Kingdom Music!

My Kingdom Music is proud to announce the signing of EQUISETUM, a Doom Metal project formed by Noctuaria (vocals) and Mortifero (all instruments), two artists with a long-standing collaboration across multiple underground acts such as Nebrus, Ignis Absconditus, Flusso Delirante Persecutorio, Nott.

"Cor Ex Putredine" is the title of their debut album and it will be released on September 25th, 2026.

The album is rooted in the Italian dark sound, with a reference to Alkaest by Paul Chain, while expanding into multiple Doom trajectories: from the heavier and alienating reminiscences of CELTIC FROST, to the more irregular and dissonant approach of UNHOLY, up to the slow, gothic atmospheres of TYPE O NEGATIVE. Subtle Black Metal influences emerge, particularly in the construction of rhythmic textures, drawing from the essence of THORNS.

The lyrics, sung in a ritualistic and visionary way by the talented and original Noctuaria's voice, explores themes of decay and loss to reach the conclusion that Death is not an event... Death is a process.
