What happens when you combine the influences of Bach and Chopin with Cannibal Corpse, Aphex Twin, and Meshuggah? Igorrr is perhaps the only artist who can give you that answer. For two decades, French multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre has approached every recording with startling freshness and radical vitality. The reinvention continues with the new full-length album AMEN arriving on September 19 via Metal Blade Records.
Ahead of the album release, Igorrr has released a new single called "INFESTIS." The track taps into black metal influences, traditional Tibetan instruments, and excessive distortion - listen here.
Other recently released singles from the album include "Blastbeat Falafel" and "ADHD."
The album features guest appearances from Scott Ian (Anthrax), Trey Spruance (Mr. Bungle), and Mike Leon (Soulfly).
Igorrr has previously received astounding praise from leaders in the heavy music sphere, including Loudwire, Metal Injection, Metal Hammer, and more. They have toured alongside Ministry and Vowws, to name a few.
Since signing to Metal Blade in 2017, the Igorrr name has expanded from one man's pseudonym to become a full group identity, but Gautier remains the project's guiding light and mastermind. Igorrr also includes Jb Le Bail (Vocals), Marthe Alexandre (Vocals), Remi Serafino (Drums), and Martyn Clément (Guitars).

While explaining his approach for the new album, Gautier says, "This album is definitely darker than its predecessors; it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in Igorrr. The fact that I recorded a real choir in a church helped this a lot, but above all there has been very long and meticulous work on the sound and the choice of instruments, and deep experimental research to create a unique sound design."
Take the daring leap into Igorrr's out-of-the-ordinary, unpredictable musical universe with us. They are available for interviews, and I have advance streams of the album for review consideration. Looking forward to working together!
