Madrid, Spain; 28 July 2026: Black metal legends Emperor will release an “Emperial Collection” in collaboration with record label and creative house Down With The Most High Productions. Moving completely away from the conventions of standard band merchandise, this high-end release features highly detailed, custom-made artefacts designed to serve as a permanent physical homage to the band's monumental visual and musical legacy.

This unique campaign's star attraction comes in the form of a life-size Emperor Icon E Shield, which is essentially a one-to-one scale metal suit of armour made using die-cut steel. The shield has a clear border with the iconic "Icon E" symbol that has been welded to the outermost surface of the shield. An authentic historical feel is achieved through the inclusion of imperfect, engraving-like detailing on the front surface of the shield where darker colours have been used for the recesses, while polishing has been applied to highlight. The rear side of the shield is fitted with an arm handle as well as an adjustable leather strap while the shields will come with a unique certificate of authenticity signed by all the members of Emperor. Alongside this metal suit of armour comes a sixty-by-seventy-cm sized imperial standard banner embroidered in silver-metallic and black colours onto black velvet fabric depicting the coat of arms of Emperor.

The collection also features high-end jewellery designed with nine hundred and twenty-five sterling silver that comprises a weighty seal ring along with a corresponding pendant decorated with the emblematic shield imagery. The precious metal products have a black patinated finish in their engraving, that are available in luxurious matte touch packaging with black velvet lining and hot-foil stamped silver. In addition to this, the clothing line includes a large, die-cut coat of arms back patch embroidery with silver metallic thread on high-quality synthetic leather selected specifically for its longevity. This particular product is exclusively available in a limited quantity of one hundred pieces only and is supplied in a large collectable OBI flap packaging along with silver hot-foil accented liner notes.

These products will make their public debut at Beyond the Gates Festival, which will take place in Bergen, Norway, in July. Visitors to the festival will get an unusual chance to see for themselves the weight, composition and packing material at the official Down With The Most High stall.

These collection items follow the success of the previously released Celtic Frost fine art and precious metal collection, and the recently announced Marduk collection.

Daniel Dabadan Gayoso, Founder of Down With The Most High Productions and Curator of the collection, said: "The production of items for such a legendary band as Emperor was an important task that demanded the use of material that can be considered in line with the majesty and royalty of their music. Following the examples set in previous collaborations on Celtic Frost and Marduk projects, we decided to make monuments to music that will last forever. The use of forged steel, sterling silver and velvet will allow us to pay due respect to this symbolism.”

Down With The Most High Productions (DWTMH) is an independent label and production company from Spain which focuses exclusively on producing high-end, niche releases across the black, death and thrash metal spectrum. Known for their dedication to the quality of physical product, and working with legends such as Celtic Frost, Tormentor, Possessed, Blasphemy, Beherit, Necromantia, Mystifier, Absu, Imprecation and Baxaxaxa, DWTMH attempts to raise extreme metal visuals above usual merchandising.
