Tech death metal fans, REJOICE! Bristol extreme metallers Embodiment are back and heavier than ever. Following a brief hiatus and a reshuffle in the lineup, the band have returned with their blistering new single, “Jeopardy in Idolatry,” set for release on Friday, 1st May 2026.
Since the release of their debut album in 2015, Embodiment have carved out a reputation as a formidable force within the UK metal scene. Their relentless live presence has seen them perform at major festivals including Bloodstock Open Air, Tech-Fest, and Mammothfest, as well as sharing stages with heavyweights such as Decapitated, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Suffocation.
Now strengthened by the addition of Sam Godding (ex-Ascaris) and Will Pearson (ex-Body Harvest, Dies Holocaustum, Rannoch), the band are entering a new chapter. With a forthcoming EP on the horizon, Embodiment are pushing their sound into heavier and more refined territory while staying true to their technical death metal roots.
