Electronic Infused Black Metal Act OMNIKOLOSS Release "Omnisyndrom Alpha 17" Ahead Of New Album, 'Quantum Fleshdrive'
With black metal at its core, OMNIKOLOSS delves further into electronic music, analogue synthesis, ambient and industrial sounds in the third studio album Quantum Fleshdrive. Across the track list, acoustic drums and guitars collide with programmed beats, field recordings and layers of synthesizers including the Moog Sub 37, Korg MS-20, Polysix, Minimoog and Juno-60. Quantum Fleshdrive will arrive on December 4, 2026, via Unholy Conspiracy Deathwork. The first single, "Omnisyndrom Alpha 17," is available now.
The narrative of "Omnisyndrom Alpha 17" questions the existence and autonomy of two nameless humans. One is trapped in a life reduced to maintenance: work, consume, recover, return, while the second appears to live beyond this system with apparent freedom.
"Human one is imprisoned by material reality; Human two is imprisoned by perception." OMNIKOLOSS explain. "The overworld could be a protected class, a simulation, a religious illusion, a digital heaven or even the final dream produced by an exhausted brain before collapse. The world below may be hell, but the world above may only be a beautifully rendered interface hiding the same machine. One person knows they are trapped. The other has forgotten what a trap looks like."
"Omnisyndrom Alpha 17" erupts with intensity combining furious blast beats with an immersive atmosphere and an electronic march. The band's dedication to worldbuilding is shown through field recordings made around small lakes and moors including frogs and the surrounding night sounds. The electronic march is built around a sample from Tetsuo: The Iron Man.
