Ecuadorian band NIPHREDIL release new album “Fractures in the Crystal Vault” – Out September 9!

Niphredil was formed with the goal of creating dark and heavy atmospheres in elaborate compositions that hold the listener’s attention without becoming pretentious. Their lyrics, influenced by classical literature, explore mystical and introspective themes that amplify the band’s sound.

The album features two tracks spanning a total of 13 minutes: “The Masked Seer” and “Death by Dreaming”. Though different in tempo and approach, from slow, cavernous doom laden with synths and programmed elements to faster tremolo-picked melodies — the songs together capture the band’s full creative scope.

Musically, Niphredil draw inspiration from Triptykon, Blut aus Nord, Celtic Frost, Oranssi Pazuzu, At the Gates, Emperor, and Altar of Plagues.
