Dutch Modern Old-School Metal band THE UNSLAIN releases new single + music video ‘Quintessence’

The track tells the story of ancient scientists who believed that all matter was built up of only 5 elements and relates this to our current world-view, which is bound to also not be 100% correct. The song encapsulates this feeling of ignorance by using an eclectic assortment of riffs using different time signatures and alternating growling and clean vocals, but reassures the listener that it is okay to not know everything with pleasant melodies and a catchy hook.
