DREAMWELL DROPS “CARRION BIRDS ON THE ARK” SINGLE!

Carrion Birds On The Ark” is the latest single from self-proclaimed post-skramz architects DREAMWELL. The riotous new hymn comes by way of the band’s Hymns For The Denial Of God full-length, set for release on August 28th via Prosthetic Records.

Cymbals nervously skitter, feedback pinches, and a menacing bassline sets the tempo for “Carrion Birds On The Ark.” Power chords groan beneath vocalist Keziah “KZ” Staska’s possessed delivery of a jarring singalong, “There’s a Virgin Mary water stain in the missing children’s poster.”

“It criticizes the long-running history of predation in the church,” he sighs. “It doesn’t make sense that God would let these people shuffle from church to church with their misdoings simply buried by the organization. Carrion birds loom and wait for vulnerable prey to expire in a safe haven. The metaphor reflective of priests who wait for the opportunity to strike.”
