On May 22, Japanese metal band DEVILOOF, known for their intense and aesthetic-driven sound, is set to embark on their highly anticipated Europe tour in 2025 under the title “THE UNHOLY.”
Formed in 2015, DEVILOOF has established a unique presence in Japan’s extreme metal scene. Blending deathcore and slamming brutal death metal with traditional Japanese aesthetics, their music is as visually captivating as it is sonically devastating. The band’s debut mini-album PURGE, released in 2016, achieved an impressive No.12 on Japan’s indie charts—an exceptional feat within such a niche genre.
Continuing to evolve, their latest single INSHU (因習) showcases the band’s most technically complex work to date, marking a new chapter in their artistic progression.
With “THE UNHOLY,” DEVILOOF will unleash their signature sound across Europe, offering audiences a raw and powerful taste of Japan’s heaviest and most unrelenting metal.
