Demonic Death Judge Reveal Full Album Stream for Absolutely Launched!

Finnish sludge metal powerhouse Demonic Death Judge has just unleashed a full stream of their long-awaited fifth full-length album, Absolutely Launched, exclusively via Invisible Oranges. The record is officially out tomorrow, April 30 via Suicide Records, and fans can now experience its thunderous groove ahead of the release.

Following the premiere of their crushing new video for “Goner,” the band now invites listeners to jump into a world of dirty sludge riffs, hypnotic grooves, and sheer sonic punishment. Absolutely Launched dives deep into the grimy guts of a tiny garage, where sweat, gasoline, and a little bit of nihilism ooze from every power chord.

Recorded with long-time collaborator and producer Jaakko Viitalähde, the album is a culmination of the band’s evolution — still raw, still massive, but sharper than ever.

Vocalist Jaakko Heinonen comments: Some of this stuff was written during the pandemic. And it is pretty bleak stuff. Some was done after it. And you’d think the vibe would be somewhat brighter. But really, it isn’t. It’s an album of struggling to keep up with life in this unforgiving society. Mainly drinking through it all. These riffs are fucking heavy, so what else I’m gonna write about? Times are not looking much better but I’m glad we made it here! And have something to show for it.

While, guitarist Toni Raukola adds: These riffs reek of blues, petrol and violence. 'Absolutely Launched' is by far the filthiest record we've ever made.
