DEATHROLL is a Japanese black metal band born in Iwaki, Fukushima, Japan. DEATHROLL started their career in 2012 as a solo black metal project of the singer, songwriter and musician Kazu. The band released their first album 荒涼(pronounced “kouryo”) the same year. In 2014, DEATHROLL released their second album Brainwashing. In 2015 DEATHROLL released their third album 破壊(pronounced “hakai”) via METAL JAPAN RECORDS. Later on they released their fourth album Z.K.K. on 1st April 2017, and signed with Glob Metal promotion based in Russia on 1st August 2019. DEATHROLL’s most recent album A SICK LIFE was released on 6th September 2019 from STF Records, based in Germany, and it was available worldwide. DEATHROLL released the digital single "Causing a Nightmare" worldwide again from the Germany based STF Records. After this, the band released their second digital single "Why is your name on the Deathroll?" from STF Records on March 18, 2022.
