DEATH METAL BAND BURIED SOULS TO RELEASE NEW EP ‘ZONE 63’

Swiss death metal band BURIED SOULS are set to release a rancid but weighty slab of death metal with their latest release—the blistering new EP ‘Zone 63.’ Aftering releasing their second full length album, ‘Whispers,’ less than a year ago, the band refuses to slow down. Instead, they doubled their efforts using a musical bludgeoning hammer in the form of five gritty death metal anthems.

BURIED SOULS, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, formed in 2010 and quickly gained traction with consistent releases in the form of two full lengths and an EP. Now in 2023, the band finds themselves once again throwing out a short but extra brutal package of death metal debauchery.

For ‘Zone 63,’ BURIED SOULS continues to draw inspiration from several styles, including both hardcore and sludge. Their sound evolves over time to portray their most aggressive and mechanical natures, which are exemplified with the EP’s filthy but memorable songs.
