Today, as the fourth and last in line, Danish progressive metal band Danefae releases the single Vandskabt (Danish for ‘Created from water’) from the band’s second album Trøst set for a January 31st 2025 release. Also, following a string of fall and winter shows Danefae is ready to present the new album at three release concerts in February, taking place in Danish cities Aalborg, Aarhus, and Copenhagen. On Trøst, the band conjures a world of nature, myths and magic, and at the heart of the band is vocalist and lyricist Anne Olesen, who draws on Danish legends and literature to craft personal stories, delivered virtuously through the band's organic, complex, and melodic music. Trøst (Danish for ‘Solace’) contains various stories about being human, and where the two first singles Blind and Fuglekongen dived into general human existential themes, the point of departure for third single Natsværmer is a concrete experience. The band states on the new single Vandskabt:
