DAMNATION AEON release their debut album, "In Flame We Trust", today via Eclectic Productions.

Formed in Kyiv, Ukraine, the band was created by Lucifer, bassist of Balance Interruption and Goat Sperm, together with drummer Dmytro Kim of Balance Interruption, former Jinjer member, and live member of Patriarkh. What began as their own project took shape through a sound rooted in avant-garde blackened death metal, with a progressive compositional approach and a strong focus on atmosphere, structure, and tension.

Following the digital EP “Abandon Hope”, released in 2024, DAMNATION AEON now presents its first full-length work. The album deals with the destructive consequences of faith, especially Christian faith, on the individual and on humanity as a whole. Its lyrics take a confrontational view of religion, God, and human nature, framing the record as a dark and deliberate statement rather than a purely abstract exercise in extremity.

Across seven tracks, “In Flame We Trust” moves between aggression, unease, and layered arrangements, with saxophone and additional vocals adding further depth to the band’s core sound.
