It’s been six years now since the release of the last Corpsefucking Art album, the excellent Splatterphobia, but at long last the Italian purveyors of sonic grotesqueries have returned…and they’re better – and more dangerously deranged – than ever! New album Tomatized combines magnificent death metal and utter madness as only Corpsefucking Art can. The opening, title track welcomes us into this madhouse with massive, crunching, grinding riffs, drum beats of insane force and shuddering impact and those sewer-dwelling vocals, laced with threat and promises of slaughter. Whatever the wild stories being told in the lyrics, this music will still tear you limb from limb. ‘Hell Of The Living Dead’ follows with some glorious, blood-spattered riffs that underline the sheer satisfying brilliance of Corpsefucking Art’s mastery of death metal. The quality never drops for a second as infectious hooks and bowel shaking rhythms are delivered with intense focus and relentless power, the exceptional music infusing the bizarre humour with an unnerving darkness.
