After years of silence and shadowed slumber, CODEX NERO emerges once more, unveiling their latest incantation, “Ordo Acherontis”. Born from the inner sanctum of Pestis Nihilus in 2018, CODEX NERO has never been about mere music—it is a covenant of sound and spirit, a portal where tones and shadows intertwine to conjure personal sorcery.

The debut offering, “The Great Harvest of Death” (2021, Liber Khaos Productions), established the band as a harbinger of ritualistic darkness, fusing black metal ferocity with occult ambience, enhanced by the otherworldly chants of Corona Barathri.

Now, after a period of hibernation beneath the veil of shadows, CODEX NERO returns with “Ordo Acherontis”, an album forged from the awakening of the entity itself. Each track channels malevolent spirit, cold atmosphere, and funereal vision, guiding listeners through a labyrinth of darkness where ritual energy and sonic power converge.

Mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg of Satanic Audio, “Ordo Acherontis” is a testament to CODEX NERO’s relentless pursuit of blackened transcendence. This is not music for the flesh—it is an invocation, a journey into the hidden chambers of the mind, where shadows breathe and unspoken forces stir.
