In the short film “This Is The Way” by Inner Axis, the narrative is framed with strong cinematic influences reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino’s style, while the band masterfully dresses it in metal through powerful melodies and lyrical depth, drawing inspiration—among others—from The Mandalorian of the Star Wars universe.
Traditional heavy metal is seamlessly blended with elements inspired by Ennio Morricone’s compositions and the broader Spaghetti Western soundscape, creating a rich and atmospheric sonic identity. The story unfolds in a world where money, crime, and mystery intertwine, forming the perfect backdrop for settling scores and acts of revenge in the name of protecting vested interests.
