Chronepsis to release "Weight of Eternity" on April 4th.

Emerging New Jersey melodic technical death metal act Chronepsis announces their debut EP, Weight of Eternity, due out on April 4 on CD and digital.

Formed in 2023, Chronepsis rose from the depths of South Jersey, taking their moniker from the dragon god of fate, death, and judgment in the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

Weight of Eternity is a terrifying collection of stories engulfed in horror, conquest, vengeance, and transformation. Across its six tracks, the EP breathes alongside ancient entities, enraged warriors, and hideous monsters from multiple realms, culminating in a blood-curdling assault that embodies the darkest corners of human emotion. A brewing pot of technical prowess and melodic grandiosity, Weight of Eternity weaves diverse elements together, all while keeping death metal’s unhinged ferocity intact.
